Meet Gitit Kaufman
Licensed Professional Counselor
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a deep passion to work with people in order to increase their self-awareness toward themselves, while focusing on their emotional, mental, and physical aspects. I have obtained my master’s degree in Counseling, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University in 2013. I have a bachelor’s degree in Social Work that I practiced since 2001, and from 2014, I reside in Colorado where I practice as an LPC. I have a wide experience working with people from a variety of backgrounds and cultures, including veterans, people struggling with addiction, anxiety, depression, and grief. I believe that therapy needs to be targeted while addressing a pressing matter. Every person deserves to have the best opportunity to improve his or her life and get the best support they need. My goal is to help people improve their social as well as their emotional issues to help them reach mental peace.

Sessions are available in person as well as via Telehealth (Google Meet).
Why Counseling?
It can really help
If you're feeling lost, anxious, or disconnected in this day and age, you're not alone. Many of us are struggling to process the loss of our daily routines and the fear of current social dynamics. As human beings, we need social connection, but it can be challenging to find the right balance between our mental health and our need for interaction.
These challenges can be painful and impact us on many levels - mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. You may be grieving the loss of something or someone important in your life, such as a relationship, a job, or even a childhood dream. Whatever the cause, it's essential to address these feelings so that they don't control your daily routine, your thought process, your beliefs, or your behavior.
In our sessions, we'll work together to raise awareness about yourself and your issues, providing a safe and comfortable space for you to share your story. We'll help you connect the dots between your past experiences and your current challenges, while making healthier choices for yourself and your loved ones. You'll gain acceptance of who you are, and we'll work together to change things within you that you don't like, in a kind and respectful way.
By taking control of your life, you'll find a better lifestyle and move away from feeling stuck. So, are you ready to take the first step? I offer a free consultation to help you get started. Please contact me to schedule an appointment, and let's work together to help you regain hope and find the tools you need to improve your quality of life.
